Life Beyond the Scars applies to identity! Sadly, Charity was in a car accident that turned quickly to flames burning her beauty on the outside. Even if you have not been in a horrid accident like Charity, the well written book leaves you turning page after page that you will find helps you become aware of how valuable you are and how to have a champion mindset. Although I don't normally read non-fiction books, this one held my attention and kept me up late at night to find out what happened next. Through the tragedy and pain, the author tells of her journey into a complete lifestyle change with God at the helm. It is truly inspirational to read of the path her faith took her on and how she persevered in her intense journey. The raw openness of what God taught her and brought her through was eye-opening and became a personal challenge for me to draw closer to Him in my life during hard times.
